- These pads are designed to clean the .223Cal/5.56mm/.300blk star chamber,the locking lugs recess on the barrel extension (bolt locking area) and the face of the chamber.
- How to use: thread a star pad onto the cleaning rod adapter,use the nut to keep the pad tight fit on the rod adapter and insert into the chamber. The pad is cut to fit the locking lugs of the .223/5.56/.300 blk star chamber. You can then twist the rod/pad clockwise to wipe behind the lugs.
- It’s better to apply some oil/solvent to soften the gunk/carbon on the chamber, then use the pads to clean,the pads absorb and holds cleaning solvent well.
- Made of high density compressed wool felt,pretty stiff. Much easier and efficient to cleaning the star chamber than using cleaning patches.
